TWO THOUSAND SEVENTEEN

TWO THOUSAND SEVENTEEN

If you like picture books, you'll like this post.
Just as the title sounds, this is a review of my year in 2017.

As much as I loved 2017, I am super excited for what 2018 holds. There are new adventures to go on, new stories to be written, and new experiences to come.

Cheers to the New Year!

The beginning of 2017!
I started Life Leadership College for this first time and I also got 100 level certified with Stone Creek as a Barista!

February, the love month! LLC and I put together little valentines to give to each other and brought in goodies, it was the best day.
Also -- Note my progression of latte art.

Our friends Nando & Lindsey got married this month! This was also the month that we were looking at rings ourselves. The one pictured is the ring Sam ended up getting for me!

This is so funny to look back at, but I did my own attempt at a logo before I changed everything and it's hilarious. It was our first easter at Life Church and to end the month LLC went on an end of the year retreat to Chicago! It was so much fun, and I will always hold these memories.

This was the best month! We saw LANY for the second time in Milwaukee, and I dyed my hair BLONDE! Although, I've been a red head for a long time so it took a few more appointments to get what I wanted. oh, also...I GOT ENGAGED!

I spent the first week in Florida staring at my RING! We picked out our venue a week after we came back home. And a few weeks after, Sam left for 3 weeks to go work on the road with his old job with BNY.

This was another really fun month. I went on a trip to camp with my church and the youth group there and it was incredible! This was also a very special month for me because I launched Alysia Paige. I'm so proud and so glad to have started this adventure. Lastly, I made it on the deans list and my Sam came back home.

Sam and I went up north camping with his grandparents for a few days and that was a lot of fun -- and also where I found my love for the game sequence. Between hangouts with friends, and going to the state fair, this was a very busy month! LLC had our orientations and first day together at the end of the month. We had a beginning of the school year picnic in Milwaukee!

Well, this was an interesting month. Sam's aunt and her family moved to Colorado, and I got really sick. I had my first minor surgery, but things will be all right. And the end off September, I turned 22!

So, I am a very clumsy person, and I dropped a bunch of stuff and needed stitches. Thankfully, our photographer was good at photoshop..
As for wedding plans, I bought my dress!
Sam and I took a spontaneous trip 3 hours north to visit with some friends for an hour, and its as so worth it. Lastly, LLC had our annual Halloween party!

We started out November with leading worship for a conference called, "She Conference". LLC has a preview day that my practicum planned out and that was really cool to be apart of. We also got to meet Packer KGB!
And of course, it was Thanksgiving this month. Going between two families is really hard.

Every month we have a family night with my school, and we went to the water street brewery, and our restaurant ended up evacuating due to a fire! Super crazy. It was an interesting way to end my second semester.
I turned even MORE blonde, and I'm loving it. One more appointment and I can get rid of my red hair.
I sung for our Christmas services at Life Church and it was such a humbling experience to be apart of!
Lastly, it was my fiance's 22 birthday. We celebrated with a day in Milwaukee.

and that wraps up 2017! I'm stoked for the things that will be happening in 2018 (like getting MARRIED), and I just know it will be the best year yet. Have a wonderful New Year, and stay safe!
